It's light, has proved waterproof and seems fully breathable. This is all down to the coating on the tough fabric, which lets water vapour out but repels rain. I've already proved it can withstand clambering up and down bramble ridden banks! I like the fact that it's light enough to let you screw it up and pack it away in your holdall without it taking barely any room. To my mind, something that's light and waterproof which doesn't leave you dripping with sweat at the end of the day at this sort of price has to be a winner."
